The Campgrounds Can Get Dangerous This Time of Year in Michigan

September 27, 2013

We are at the Wilderness State Campground just south of Mackinaw Bridge in Northern Michigan.

We were just taking a walk, minding our own business, when all of a sudden,

I was attacked by a giant Michigan spider.

Mark tried to rescue me but was attacked and the bites were vicious and unfortunately fatal....

Luckily there was a new graveyard in the campground so I was able to dig a nice hole in the sand.

I stuffed him in a nearby casket.

And he is resting peacefully.

Comedy aside, they state employees did a great job of decorating this park for Halloween!  Great job Michigan!
